Houston EB5 founder and CEO, Roberto Contreras Sr., obtains his green card and eventual citizenship through an EB-5 investment in a stone fabrication company, a very similar business to our current offering, Moderno Porcelain Works.
Roberto Contreras Sr. founds his first company, Technimar Industries, which was sold and become Cambria.
Next, founding Cosentino USA to introduce quartz to the U.S. surfacing industry, Robert Contreras Sr. achieves the American dream after spearheading one of the fastest-growing companies in the nation. Receiving national and international recognition for his business accomplishments, Mr. Contreras was awarded Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2002.
Headquartered in Houston, Texas with global offices around the world and proven business opportunities offered across the United States, Houston EB5 helps international investors gain permanent U.S. residency in return for making a qualified investment. Certified in 2011 by United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) as an EB-5 Regional Center, Houston EB5 and DC Partners specialize in best-in-class residential high-rise, mid-rise, mixed-use and suburban projects.
Through the years, the organization has and continues to partner with industry experts to consistently deliver profitable projects that push the limits of what is possible. Houston EB5 completes seven successful raises, totaling over $1.3 billion in project costs for 6 real estate developments.
Each of the Houston EB5 development projects are specifically selected because of their high quality and attention to detail, as well as an ability to generate a significant number of jobs. Since 2013, a 100% project approval rate has been maintained on I-526 and I-829 petitions.
Two DC Partner projects, Arabella and Marlowe, received nominations for Houston Business Journal's Landmark Awards which recognize impressive real estate projects that make a significant impression on the Houston landscape and help sculpt the look, feel and image of the city.
Arabella, the Galleria-area condominium project, goes on to win in the Multifamily category.
Founder Roberto Contreras Sr. returns to his 30-plus years of experience as an entrepreneur in the surfacing industry. With Moderno Porcelain Works, investors are now being offered the ability to own a business while moving to the U.S. in mere months (rather than years) through the E-2 Visa program.
In over 10 years of forming relationships, the Houston EB5 team has cultivated strong alliances in Mexico, Peru, Colombia, China, Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana, Vietnam, Philippines, Turkey, Abidjan, and Kenya.
Most importantly, the team at Houston EB5 invests alongside our clients on every project, meaning we only succeed when you do. Since its inception, the Houston EB5 team has worked diligently to sponsor over 1,300 green cards for investors and their families.
