Roberto Contreras, a former EB-5 investor and CEO of Houston EB5, discusses how recent reforms to the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program could impact industry leaders and investors.
The EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program is administered by United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to grant investors, along with their immediate families, permanent residence in the U.S. in exchange for a minimum investment amount in a project which has proven to create at least 10 full-time U.S. jobs. Under this recently extended and renewed program, significant capital investment funds have been generated, creating numerous jobs which help the U.S. economy.
